Art Programs for Students
STUDIO PROGRAM
MOSA Studio Programs
At MOSA Studios we are pleased to provide programs for both students with disabilities and DSHS clients who receive the DDCS Waiver.
What We Offer!
We offer our students special education programming and opportunities to have a place to create, present, and exhibit their work to our community. Our Specialized Art Programs foster an environment where our students gain confidence, self- esteem, build social skills, and create friendships with each other. Our goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where students can explore art, build skills, connect with others, and express themselves freely - at their own pace.
PROGRAM
Our Individualized Programs Support:
Open Studio offers a welcoming, supportive environment where students can explore their creativity at their own pace. With guidance and encouragement from MOSA teaching artists, students learn new techniques, build confidence, and discover the joy of creating artwork in a studio space designed specifically for their needs.
Flexible Sessions
Students can choose from flexible 1-, 2-, or 3-hour studio sessions, allowing them to participate at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. This flexibility makes it easier for families to fit art time into their weekly routines while still giving students plenty of opportunity to grow creatively.
Attend Sessions
Students have the option to attend once or twice each week, depending on their needs, goals, and schedules. This flexibility allows families to choose the level of involvement that works best, while still giving students consistent opportunities to practice, learn, and stay engaged with their art.
Structured Support Room
Each session is guided with gentle structure so students feel supported and know what to expect, while still leaving plenty of space for personal expression and creative exploration. This balance helps students stay focused, build skills, and develop their own artistic style without feeling pressured.
